Усі події, які відбувалися у Донецьку від березня 2014 року, могли повторитися й у Харкові. Утім саме це місто першим стало чинити опір проросійським терористам. "Харків – місто дуже специфічне. Нас не хвилює, що відбувається десь навколо. Нас хвилює, що робиться саме в нашому місті", – кажуть місцеві. "Битва за Харків" містить інтерв'ю харків'ян - активістів, депута- тів, бізнесменів, культурних діячів, котрі вийшли у листопаді 2013 року боротися за рідний Харків і стояли до кінця. Також зібрані спогади працівників СБУ та контррозвідки, які знаходили російський слід в українському місті і розкривали теракти 2014-2015 рр.
